Denbury Libra CO2 Storage Project

St. Charles Parish, Louisiana

Map Legend

  • CO2 Plume (50 Years Post-Injection)
  • Property Boundary

Note: This is preliminary modeling based on available data. The CO2 will be stored 5,000-10,000 feet underground, well below drinking water sources. The plume shown represents maximum extent at 50 years after injection stops. Click on injection wells to view 3D plume visualization.

3D CO2 Plume Visualization

3D CO2 Plume Visualization
About this visualization: This 3D model shows the predicted CO2 plume distribution across multiple geological zones. The plumes are stacked from injection into different zones from the three injectors located very near each other. The colored layers represent different gas saturation levels, with warmer colors (red/orange) indicating higher CO2 concentrations and cooler colors (blue/green) showing lower concentrations. The visualization demonstrates how the CO2 will be distributed across the vertical injection interval from approximately 5,000 to 10,000 feet depth.
